MAC makes great brushes, and thats why they cost a lot. any other ones i would recommend (lise watier, clinique) all cost nearly the same. if you really can't spend it you could try going to an art supply store, they will often stock good makeup brushes, or be able to find you the right watercolour brushes that many people use for makeup. good luck and whatever you go with, remember to treat your brushes like your own hair, wash and condition them with a good brush soap made for that purpose! i’m a painter, and an avid makeup user, so i have found out that with brushes you pay for what you get.
