I’m in a band for a graduation, but I have no formal shoes at all. I’ll be wearing a white dress shirt and a black skirt/pant, but I don’t want to wear heels because I don’t want it to seem like I’M graduating. What kind of formal shoes are best for this type of occasion? I’ll resort to flats if I have to, but I strongly dislike them.

even though you say you hate them, id go for some metallic pumps, theyre formal and will look great, but you can wear them casually after again.
even black or white pumps would do.
otherwise, try a small kitten heel or some wedges =]

They’re flats, and even though you said you don’t like them, I htink they would go perfectly!
