is it ok to wear black shoes after memorial day for work as long as your skirt is black as well?

i work at walgreens, and am supposed ot be selling makeup. it would seem to me that if it’s inappropriate, then i won’t make as many sales, as women will tend to base my experience off my appearance.  »View More

What are good formal shoes for women?

I’m in a band for a graduation, but I have no formal shoes at all. I’ll be wearing a white dress shirt and a black skirt/pant, but I don’t want to wear heels because I don’t want it to seem like I’M graduating. What kind of formal shoes are best for this type of occasion? I’ll resort to flats if I have to, but I strongly dislike them.  »View More

What is the most comfortable black work shoes for women to wear with a skirt or dress?

I work 10 hours and stand on my feet almost 9 of those hours. We have a very small work space so I don’t do alot of walking around. We use a business uniform so it can’t be tennis shoes. If the insoles have a smooth surface and I use nylons, my feet always slides around and my feet are sore and on the verge of blisters. Any suggestions short of buying shoes over $100.00? thanks for your input, much appreciated  »View More
