Hi, I’m looking to buy a wool coat which one should I get? A wool pea coat? or a wool walker coat? (a walker coat is basically a pea coat but longer) My body type is like an hour glass but with some extra weight on it, lol. The reason why I’m asking (besides the expensive price) is to see if women who have bought coats, similar to this, get more wear out of one more than the other. Your answers are appreciated, thanks.

    a peacoat is nice
get one that’s a little fitted, if not, you could appear box shaped

I live in the Northeast so a walker coat is more sensible here because of our cold winters…..and you can also dress up a longer coat by changing the shoes ….a pea-coat is usually always casual even with heels …….

i have a wool peacoat, a wool knee length walking coat and a long, just above my ankle wool coat. I wear the peacoat the most and then next probably the walking coat. I am short, curvy hour glass as well. And knee lenth is probably the most versatile length. It can be dressed up or down and won’t make you look short.

I live in a climate that doesn’t get colder than mid 20s over night, so the peacoat is fine most of the year. though if i am dressing up I wear the two longer coats. i like all the coats for very different reasons.
