a flat iron, and a heat protectant. A good flat iron like the chi or fhi hair iron. which can be purchased at target.

i just stop making my hair do things it wasnt designed to do, and went natural. http://www.nappturality.com

If you don’t want to use a relaxer than you will have to flatiron. Use a good quality flatiron that has ceramic plates, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a $100 one or a chi/soli/fhi. I use a GVP flatiron from sallys beauty supply it only costed $70 at the time and now $60. Use a light heat protector, focusing on the ends well since this is where the hair mostly gets dry and can split. A good heat protector you can use is Silk Elements megasilk heat protector spray from sally’s, Chi Silkinfusion or the cheaper generic brand from sallys called GVP Silk Remedy are also good to use to get that silky feel and bouncy look.

The only other way to do that is use a flat iron. Nothing too expensive. And also use a really, really good heat protectant spray. I recommend Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray. Works really well. If you can’t find the spray which you should because they sell them at Wal-mart, Walgreens, CVS etc. Then try buying the Dove Heat Defense Shampoo/Conditioner (I think that’s what its called) Its in an all orange bottle, you should be able to find it. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
