when the style calls for it, i also wear a plastic/conditioning cap to bed and tie my scarf on top. that combination helps minimize the “lopsidedness” when i sleep – the “bed head” is evenly distributed. *L*

Oh no! Not the plastic shower cap. That would make an annoying noise all night long. I think I will stick with satin cap. Or nothing at all

i discovered wearing the cap at night probably in my first week of being natural (3 mos ago)…and it was the best tip i could’ve stumbled upon. i usually wear my bonnet or scarf on top of it, to secure it at night.

Also try Giovanni Direct Leave In. You get it at Vitamin Shoppe, GNC or Ulta. It costs about $8.

Try Abba’s Nourishing Conditioner Leav-on Moisturizer for hair n skin, I use it daily and it keeps my hair fluffy feeling. It’s never dry even after days and days of using it. :)
you can also use it to set your hair if you twist/braid it up at night.
